Prevention and research in Urology
In its vocation of clinical research development and its applicability in health prevention, the Foundation will encourage study projects on the high incidence of urinary stones in Central America, assessing the clinical factors that concur in it in order to identify factors which can be corrected in diet or urosaludables habits.
Likewise, the chapter on data leading to renal failure will be addressed, proposing cost-effective modifications with respect to dialysis, executing research plans in realistic models of renal transplant development. Another important chapter will be establishing the registry of urinary incontinence and female prolapses as a consequence of childbirth care, proposing prevention programs in pelvic floor rehabilitation that result in the improvement of such pathologies.
